We’ve all had Uber rides from hell, but what about one to hell?
A timeless tale of a rideshare nightmare.
Loosely based on a real story (very loosely), we follow the adventures of Luis who is sucked straight from an Uber into a portal through to the bowels of hell. While his housemate Drew and their mysterious driver Samedi embark on a quest/really long Uber ride to rescue him, Luis, along with the help of an enthusiastic tour guide must navigate his way through the fire, brimstone and overly-touchy creatures of the underworld to be saved from eternal damnnation.
Hosted in the Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre underground carpark, because why not. This original play is not only a hilarious absurdist romp but has themes, themes like the rise of the gig economy and humanity’s pursuit of happiness.
So come along and have a laugh – give us five stars and we’ll give you five stars, yeah?
